Hey Dave, maybe daylilies or hostas in the spring. It is just about killing frost time here, and everything is pretty much dormant.

I now use about half fine pine bark to whatever else is in the soil mixture for potting.

All four of us should get together at the Convention in 2010~ wonder if we can get a break on the hotel, by booking a whole...room???

Hardly enough of us to hold up the banner...

Chutney

'cause I make the best cranberry chutney...

Lawns can provide beautiful settings, but are largely a huge expenditure of water, fertilizer and energy that could also be used to produce a lovely garden, or even edible ornamentals.

Wish I could remember to start those crops for the fall. Need to obtain the seeds to have on hand ahead of time as well. Enjoy!

The Tovara "Painter's Palette" is beautiful, shades of cream, green, pink and burgundy, with chevron markings. Easy in shade.
