I take quite a few plant pics and sometimes I come across perennials that catch my attention. They may not be the easiest to find but are well worth seeking out. I'll add a few here to see what you all think.

Here's one I think we should all have. Sisyrinchium 'Quaint and Queer' - nice small bloomer that grows well in a bit of grit.

Spigelia marilandica. I found this one at the U of W Herb Garden. It looks tropical and seemed to be doing well. I believe it is a woodland plant.

Hehe I'll be back in Seattle as of Nov 9 for a few weeks, I'll definitely have to look out for Sisirynchum "quaint and queer." :)
