Fall Veggies

Okay, so now that summer is over, we should be seeing our fall vegetables growing: the lettuce, beets, carrots, and cole crops we planted in July and August. Anyone have others besides these? :?:

Wish I could remember to start those crops for the fall. Need to obtain the seeds to have on hand ahead of time as well. Enjoy!

The trouble with those is that I never have room for them! My squash run completely amok and dominate the garden until harvest time. I did plant chard in the spring and it sort of clung on beneath the squash leaves. Now that they're gone, it's coming along nicely and I'll be able to harvest it on and off through the winter here. The rest of the garden will be planted densely with favas before I take off to the US for a month. In the spring I'll let some of them crop, the rest will get dug in as green manure.
